Storytellers: Fly Story

I am so happy and thrilled to have the first submission to Storytellers to share with you. Fly Story comes from Tom who is seven years old and lives in Australia. I love his story and I think you will, too. Please use the Like button and comments section to let our first storyteller know what you think of his wonderful tale.

There was an old woman who had a fly. Oh me, oh my! She had a fly.

“Buzz. Buzz.” Away the fly flew, out the door.

“Come back so I can squish you.”

“You can’t catch me. I’m a fly.”

The fly went flying along when he was seen by a little boy on a farm. “A fly! Catch it!” said the little boy.

“You can’t catch me, I’m a fly.”

The little boy chased the fly. The farm animals chased the fly. “Squish the fly. Squish the fly.”

“You can’t catch me. I’m a fly.”

Splat. The fly flew into a spider’s web. Creep, creep, creep. The spider came closer. And closer.

Suddenly…

“Moooo!” A cow ran into the spider’s web and away the fly flew.

“You can’t catch me, I’m a fly.”
